Foodics POS Integration – Automated Sales Invoice & Inventory Posting

With this integration, every time an order is closed in Foodics POS, a webhook is triggered that sends the order details directly to ERPNext in real time.

ERPNext interprets the webhook payload and creates a Sales Invoice with complete item, pricing, discount, payment, and customer information, seamlessly handling both online and walk-in customers.

Additionally, the system calculates inventory consumption using the Menu Recipe (BOM) assigned to each menu item.
For every sold item, ERPNext deducts the raw materials as per the recipe, ensuring:

  • Accurate stock consumption
  • Real-time inventory updates
  • Correct cost of goods sold (COGS) posting
  • Zero manual intervention

This results in a fully automated and reliable link between POS operations and ERP accounting & inventory.
